Jon Bowie has pointed out to me that the Father's race is listed as a Grand Prix race. This cannot be as one sees when they read the Rules for the Grand Prix which one can read by clicking Grand Prix then clicking Rules on this site. The races that are Grand Prix races are set by the new board at the June meeting and this race did not exist at this time. As Jon pointed out, he and many others plan their racing schedule carefully, and it would be unfair to put in an additional race at the last minute which would interfere with vacations and other committments. To sum up I am not going to score the Father's race as a GP race for the 2005-2006 season because it would break the contract with GP participants.
