There are two dates coming up that you may want to save. First, the sports commission will be hosting a meeting on the proposed Mobile Sports Complex on Monday, July 17th at Hank Aaron Stadium. It will be from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM and provide a BBQ dinner catered by Naman's. This facility will be a state of the art center for as many sports and provide an opportunity for Mobile to host city, state, regional and national competition. The impact for the community would be outstanding! I hope you will come out and find out more about it. Tickets are $5.00 per person and you may purchase tickets from Joe at McCoy's Outdoors on Springhill Avenue.
Also, the 2nd all-comers track and field meet will be held on July 19th at St. Paul's school. The June/July pacer newsletter shows the date as July 12th, but it has been changed to July 19th. Sorry about inconvenience. You may pick-up forms at McCoy's but it is not necessary to pre-registered.
