Jingle Bell Run?

I just received the application for this years Jingle Bell Run in the mail and I am confused. Now where in the app. does it address age groups or awards (not that I would be in contention), nor does it have anything about a race walker category. The question, is this just a Fun Run or is it a true race? They also spell out the door prizes are "Incentive prizes available for those who raise/donated over commitment fee".
Can anyone help me with this?
