Standing around the finish area I ask Bruce if he knew Derrick Rodgers. He had mentioned seeing his times improved, but had not met Derrick. Bruce intro. himself, and spoke quick of Derricks' PR set today for a 10k. A light came on with Derrick, and he ask Bruce if he was the local 10k record holder, which Bruce acknowledge, but then moved on with other topics. Seems it's a destinction you wear well!!!
