I would not worry about the pace, for now. If you are just starting
back, and you are carrying extra weight, you will begin to notice,
your times will get better, as you shed the weight. I don't know
if anyone can tell you, a normal pace, it varies from runner to runner.
The fact, that you stated, that you are carrying extra weight, and running
on 2 hills, be careful, on the downhill. The extra weight, and the sheer
fact, running downhill, places a lot of stress on your legs.
Starting back to running, for a week and a half, and a 10 minute pace,
is great. Plus, I would make sure, that it is a comfortable pace. Best of
