I had a similar problem if not exact, on the leg machine. Specifically,
the one at USA Rec Ctr. I tried only lowering it 45 degrees vs the full
90, it helped some. Later, I tried another machine at a different gym,
and had no problems. I went back, to USA had the same problem. I am
convinced, that one was fine for me anatomically. You place a great deal of
stress, when you lower it the full 90 degree's. Good luck!
