When did they ask the competitive and non-competitive question? The application did not seem to have that on it. In any case, everyone wants to be included in the results.
This is an atypical race in many ways but maybe they could or should be advised on certain expectations that runners have. One that I have is that any race that has over 100 runners should go 3 deep in overall awards. I'd like to point out that this would not have affected me at all in this race. It's just that it is an addition of only 4 trophies to go 3 deep in male and female overall results. This race had over 400 participants and at $25 per entry those 4 trophies are easily affordable.
