Just wanted to remind you all that Dawes Intermediate School will be hosting their first annual 5K/Fun Run Race on Saturday, March 17th to benefit one of our students, Dillan Foster, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor early in the school year as well as St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The race is called the Shamrock Shuffle and the race application can be found on the Little Red Hen site. I realize that this race is the weekend before the ATR but it would be a great warm-up to that and it's for a wonderful cause! We will have food provided by Jimmy John's, Momma's Mojo, Texas Roadhouse,Zea, Marble Slab, Krispy Kreme, and more...Phillip from Azalea City DJs will be there and there will also be stuff for the kids like McGruff the Crime Dog, face painting, and jumpers. It will be a fun day for all so please try to join us that day as we run/walk for St. Jude's and Dillan!
