the "merge" stinks. There should be no "merge". The 10k'ers are encountering the slowest most inexperienced 5k'ers at the merge. They are all over the place wandering from side to side. There are not that many 10k's run in this area so a lot of runners key on this race for a PR. You can't do that while dodging and bumping into folks. I want the race to have large numbers but there has to be a way to preserve the "race" aspect for the 10k'ers.
