On Saturday the 14th at 1 PM at Schwartz Park off RIver Du Chien Road, the Dog River Clearwater Revival is hosting the second annual Great Drift to show off another beautiful part of the watershed. Please come and join us.
There is no cost to participate, though T shirts will be available. This is not a competitive event and will feature a guided 8 mile paddle and a guided 4 mile paddle. The 8 mile paddle should take 3-4 hours of leisurely paddling. The four mile 1-2 hours.
If you do not have a canoe or kayak, Sunshine Canoes is offering them at a discount (call 367-4144). Make your reservation as soon as possible.
After the paddle we will have a party at the River Shack. There will be live music, great food, discounts, and everyone is welcome.
