Hey Joey "16:42-in-the-sweltering-sub-tropical-Crime-Prevention-Sweat-Fest 5k" Warner!
(My best memory of the Cri-Pre 5k is forever after advising 1st timers to not/nyet/nein/girrrl, don't do itlook at the bank's flashing time/temp sign near the N.E. corner of Bienville Sq as they came by it in the 2nd 1/2 of the race. I know I never did again after it broke my heart; my mind; my will to (and very nearly my ability to) live when I looked at it during the race that 1st yr... Dat can be a terrible, terrible thing. (But then, I'm a big ol' ninny.)
But YAH! Pat is so, so right! And with your stellar recordkeeping & ace reporting, I think you are a hands down natural for PCP club historian. Even though I don't think there is such a position. And of course I have no authority whatsoever to nominate ~or~ name you to the job, even if it the job did exist. But still! Those are mere details, right? You should absolutely be club historian!
And to show that even feeble-minded folk (ok, i only mean me) can remember one, or sometimes on a good day even two, things: I remember well the unofficial Scrambled Leggs TRACK race/super workout/fundraiser that YOU organized at the McGill track, one summer afternoon. Good times, Joey, good times! Got any results from that?? Your pal, mo roberts
