Think more like a couple few weeks minimum, if memory serves.
Doesn't mean you can't still train--you can, but there's a fair chance you're gonna feel a bit of a difference. So I say go ahead and train, but don't plan an important race within 4-6 wks of donation that precious red stuff. (4 to 6 wks is an estimate, I don't remember the actual average time---but it is way more than a wk, fer sur.)
