The Chickasaw Kiwanis Freedom Run 5K is set for 8 a.m. Saturday at the Chickasaw Civic Center.
There's also a 1-mile fun run.
Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Chickasaw, the event benefits USA Children's and Women's Hospital and other Kiwanis projects.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the Chickasaw Civic Center.
After the race, participants will be treated to red beans and rice from D.C.'s Restaurant and pizza from Godfather's.
The Bryant High Hurricane 5K and Fun Run will be held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Bryant High School.
The event benefits the Alma Bryant High School cheerleaders.

Snacks and beverages will be provided after the race.
The Tiger Trail 5K will start at 8 a.m. Saturday at Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette. A 1-mile fun run will follow the 5K.
Runners can register in the front office at Baldwin County High School. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at BCHS.
The fourth annual Navy Federal 5K will be held in downtown Pensacola at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Registration is taking place online. Registration for Navy Federal Credit Union members, as well as packet pickup, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Brian L. McDonnell Center at Heritage Oaks in Building 3 in Pensacola. Registration and packet pickup will continue from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Seville Quarter. Race-day registration and packet pickup will be held from 7 to 7:45 a.m. at Seville Square.
Refreshments, entertainment and massage therapy will be available after the race.
