The Jubilee Race for Life 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Daphne Baptist Church. A 1-mile fun run will be held at 9 a.m.
The race benefits Bayside Medical Missions, a local non-profit organization that provides surgery for people with limited resources.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday oronline until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. at the race site.
After the race, there'll be door prizes, raffles, beverages and food from Chick-fil-A and Publix.
The Silverhill Heritage Day 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Silverhill Ballpark. There'll be a 1-mile fun run, too.
The event raises funds for the Silverhill ballparks and playgrounds.
Runners can register online until midnight Thursday.
The 30th annual Semper Fi 5K Charity Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Naval Air Station Pensacola.
Organized by the Marine Corps Aviation Association, the event benefits area outreach programs.
Runners can register online through midnight Thursday.
The postrace party will include food, beer and live entertainment.
The Charity Run 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday at the SGA Pavilion at the intramural fields on the University of South Alabama campus. There'll also be a 1-mile fun run.
Ten percent of each entrant's registration fee goes to the charity of his or her choice and another 10 percent goes to the charities designated by the men's and women's winners.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Friday. Race-day registration will be held starting at 6:15 a.m. at the SGA Pavilion.
There'll be food, beverages, awards and music after the race.
