The Run for the Battleship 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park.
Organized by the Battleship Foundation, the event benefits the park.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 7 to 8 a.m. at the park.
Food and beverages will be available after the race.
The Mark Mooneyham Memorial Support Our Troops 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Creola Park in Creola.
Sponsored by the Barry Chapter of the Alabama Power Service Organization, the event benefits APSO Support Our Troops and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Organized by the church, the event helps provide Thanksgiving groceries through CUMC's Lifegate Ministry.

The 21st annual Foley Rotary Oyster Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Orange Blossom Square in Foley. A 1-mile fun run will follow the 5K at 9 a.m.
Organized by the Foley Rotary Club, the event benefits Rotary charities such as scholarships for Foley High School students, Habitat for Humanity, Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts and Snook YMCA.
Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at Orange Blossom Square.
A party will follow the event.
The Stamp Out Muscular Dystrophy 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday at Langan Park. A three-quarter-mile fun run also will be held.
Organized by Branch 469 of the National Association of Letter Carriers, the event benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
