The 14th annual Panther Pride 5K Run and Panther Prowl Fun Run will be held on Saturday at Murphy High School.
The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. The Panther Prowl consists of one lap around the Murphy High School horseshoe for youngsters 10 and younger.
The Panther Prowl is returning to the Murphy campus after being held last year at Spanish Plaza because of the damage to the school caused by the Christmas Day 2012 tornado.
Organized by the Murphy PTSA, the event helps provide funds for the Murphy High School faculty's wish list.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 7 to 8:15 a.m. at the race site.
The Panthers Uncaged Party will follow the race. It will feature food, beverages, awards, door prizes, campus tours and a children's area.
