The fifth annual Catfish Chase 5K Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at Providence United Methodist Church in Spanish Fort. A 1-mile fun run will follow the 5K.
The event is part of fundraising efforts by the church's Relay for Life team.
Runners can register online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the church.
After the race, the church will serve catfish plates, along with fruit, other food and beverages, to all registered participants.
The Gator Gallop 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Alligator Alley in Summerdale.
The event benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held at Alligator Alley.
Food and beverages will be provided after the race.
The Infirmary Twilight Duathlon Run-Bike-Run will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Pro Health Fitness Center in Mobile. The race includes two 2-mile runs on either side of a 10-mile bike ride.
Organized by the Infirmary Foundation Inc., the event benefits the Mobile Infirmary Pulmonary Rehab Program.
Runners can register online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration starts at 3 p.m. at Pro Health Fitness.
The after-party runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
The third annual Bunny Hop 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday at the Wharf in Orange Beach. A 1-mile fun run will follow the 5K.
Organized by the Pleasure Island Junior Woman's Club, the event benefits Clothe the Children and the Ann Reese Memorial Scholarship.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Friday. Race-day registration will be held from 7 to 7:45 a.m. at the Wharf.
Food and beverages will be provided after the race.
