Leonard Vergunst will be the guest for the show on Wednesday this week due to Thanksgiving. At age 52, a "grandmaster", he is one of the best runners in the southeast. He is the race director for the 17th Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon to be held Saturday, November 24, at 8:00 AM at Stennis Space Center near Waveland, MS. There is also a Half Marathon and a 5K Run for those wanting to run a shorter distance. Leonard comes to many of the Mobile races and won his age group in the recent Food World Senior Bowl Charity 10K Run; many Mobilians travel to MS to run some of the Gulf Coast Running Club races. He will discuss the event.
