A cool morning and sunny skies prevailed for this nice 5k event. Team Spiridon made their presence known and the Pacers represented as well. Marty D. once again proved to be the consummate dragonslayer taking 5th overall as well as the grandmasters. Will Wright remained the Irresistible Force as usual. Also, a BIG congratulations to Allyson Lamey in taking first place in a highly competitive division of the Santa Rosa Island Triathlon. I had heard she was into some heavy training, and the rumors were confirmed today as she capitalized on her running and biking prowess. Way to represent, Al! All in all, a great day to be outdoors. For those who are slacking, the 3 day weekend may provide a good opportunity to catch up with the seasonable conditions. As always, glad to be a Pacer. Vince 4
