Race Etiquette Question

Sorry if I spelled etiquette wrong. Anyway, I am running the Senior Bowl 10K. I love this race. It's always so much fun. But this year is extra special for me because my sister (age 23) will be participating in the 10K, too. She has started running over the past few months, and loves it. But she is nervous about running such a large race. She has only participated in 1 small 5k. Her pace will be a little slower than mine, but not much. (I'm a slow runner, anyway.) She has encouraged me to go on and finish without waiting on her. So, here's my question:

Could I turn back on the sidewalk, find her, and "run her in"? Is this frowned upon during a race? And, how would I handle the finish line chute the 2nd time? She has not asked me to do this, and may not want me to. But, before we talk about it, I just wanted to get some thoughts from you guys. Thanks!
