The Sixth Annual Saraland Harvest Festival 8K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run is this Saturday, October 14th, at 8:00 a.m. This race is both a Grand Prix event and a Corporate Cup race. Rita Sullivan, with the North Mobile YMCA, is this year's race director and she has been working hard to make sure that this race will be a success. We only need you to make that happen! There will be great awards, t-shirts, door prizes and post-race food. In addition, we are giving away a children's bike to one lucky door prize winner. To qualify for that, you must be registered for either the 8K or 1 Mile and you have to be under 12-years old.
So, if you haven't registerd yet, please get to Saraland early and register before 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, as the friendly YMCA volunteers that are working the registration booths and doing pre-race stuff will also be working the water stops......and we need to make sure they make it to the water stops before the race begins!
