The course starts with an open run across grass of approximately 200 yards then goes into trails with a mixture of dirt/sand. There are two significant uphill portions through the woods in a circular course fashion. Course ends on grassy field area. This is not in any way a "golf course" feel except for the start/finish areas. A challenging course which will rely on wise pacing and awareness of one's surroundings at all times.
