We will need some help on the course this year with the addition of the 5K to the event. If you are not running this the race, we could sure use your help and the jobs are easy, low stress jobs.
1. We need 2 or 3 people at the 5K turn around to notify runners of the turn around and to get the 5K runners over in the east bound lane.
2. We need 2 or 3 people near the finish at the tunnel to direct 5k and 10k runners to the proper lane. 5K finishes on the east bound side and 10 K finishes on the west bound side the same as previous years.
3. We need someone at Broad and Government to turn runners in the 10K back to Gov't and to make sure the inside lane is clear of the last participants in the 10k who are walking so the 10K leaders will have a clear lane.
4. We need someone at Broad and Dauphin just to make sure the runners turn and cross over traffic. The police do a good job here but it is always good to have a volunteer to help.
