A return to glory was witnessed by those who had the pleasure to see FBM find his form in the half marathon with a blistering 1:29:29. Joined by his illustrious cohorts, Andra Bruce and Rhonda Collings, 2nd and 3rd respectively in a tight age grouping, clearly it's good to be a Bomber.

The performance of the day was in the 8K, with Patricia Ericksen literally blowing away both X and Y chromosomes in whatever combination you choose. It took veteran road warrior David Jeffrey to step up and represent the male gender, and represent he did with a fine 7:02 pace, taking to school the rest of the boys in the field.

Allyson Lamey joined Rhonda in doing team Pacer proud taking her age group in the 8. Lastly, Jon Bowie shows once again why he gets to wear the "Number 1" bib as he smoked the field in typical fashion. Way to go Jon, thanks for putting on a great race.

p.s. Leonard Vergunst, the Mississippi phenom, is rumored to have still finished somewhere midpack after stretching for 20 minutes following a missed start. Look out when he's on the chalk.

All in all a fine day, special congrats to those who broke 2 hrs in the half or PR'd.
