Not being one to do a job halfway, Jimmy did cut an artery in his forehead when he fell causing a pretty significant blood loss. The doctor did a great job stitching the cut right along the eyebrow - the scar will probably merge right in with the eyebrow. Jimmy's blood pressure was considered low, even for a trained athlete, on Saturday afternoon so the doctors decided he should be a guest of the Mobile Infirmary for a night. Jimmy did spend the night in the hospital, but he was released early Sunday morning. He was in great spirits yesterday and this morning as he was preparing to leave the hospital. He told me that he would need to wear a brown paper bag with eye holes so he wouldn't scare folks when he got back to the treadmill at ProHealth - don't be afraid to ask him about what the other guy looks like when you see his black eyes.
We should all have the same attitude as this man.
