Race ideas for Fall 07

I'm planning on putting on a 5K charity race in the Fall of 2007 on the USA Campus for my sorority's philanthropy. I'm shooting for August or September.

I've been involved with many races and HS cross-country/track meets but this is my first venture at actually putting on a race. I realize what kind of work this is going to take, but I have a good amount of funding and manpower.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions???
