My mother passed away this past Wednesday. It is a shock to my family, since she was in such good health before getting pneumonia. She walked into the hospital Tuesday afternoon and died about 6pm on Wed. It was an aggressive baterial pneumonia that spread quickly to her bloodstream. She did aerobics, walked, substituted for St Dominic's teachers when called upon, and many other things that would make you think that she was much younger than 71.
My family and I are doing well. We miss my Mom, but we are at peace about many things concerning her and our relationship and experience with her. The big three for me are below:
My Mom was close to God her whole life and led others to God
She loved me unconditionally
She knew of my deep love for her
Our physical needs are being taken care of by our big family and church friends, but please pray us that we will continue to recover from our shock. Thanks.
