I was beginning to wonder about this. I had even heard a rumor that the results were not going to be posted because it might detract from the festive environment of Joe Cain Day by making it too competitive. This sounded somewhat believable to a novice like myself, considering the frivolity and good times had at the post-race party, which was undoubtedly the main event for which the 5k was a mere appetizer (in gastronomical lingo, the term antipasto does come to mind). I knew this practice was common for 1 mile and two mile "fun runs" but had never heard of that happening on a 5k, particularly when somebody pulls your bib and you yourself fill out a card after the race. As they say, seeing is believing, and the results are there.
