The Mobile Moonlight Mile will be held Friday night June 3rd. (you can run the race BEFORE heading out for your weekend at the beach!)
There will be two seperate races...the women will start @ 8pm and the men will start @ 8:30pm.
The race will start at "Commerce Park" in the Tillman's Corner area...off of Rangeline Rd.......From I-10, take the "Dauphin Island/Tillman's Corner" exit.....heading South on Rangeline you will go about a mile (maybe a little farther?)....look for Commerce Park on your right....Blue Bell ice cream has their offices along the frontage road near the park entrance. It will be run on a one mile loop....good pavement, well lit, wide road, mostly flat! A good opportunity to come out, run a mile all out and perhaps even set a state record at that distance (it's certified!).
Guys this will be a "low key" fun event....much like the PCP two-miler that is held in August. This is not JUST a "fun run" (although hopefully it will be fun)...NOR is it just for elite runners!
So come out and join us.....AND GET YOUR ENTRIES IN!!!!!!
