A reminder that the Crime Prevention 5K will take place at 6:30 PM on August 2 at Bienville Square. Kay T. has arranged for plenty of food, beverages, and prizes. Right now, my chances of winning the airline tickets are looking pretty good. Sign up and reduce my odds.
The Chickasabogue 2 Miler will take place at 6:30 on August 9 - race starts at the entrance to the park. Post race party includes grilled meat (hamburgers or hotdogs - maybe both). Bring a covered dish. Come out a break a state record for the 2 mile - it could happen.
