Here is the plan:
The Hurricane Run will be held at the end of October, 29th to be exact.
A new form will be made and distributed.
It will be held at 8:10, for historic reasons.
If you have already paid for the race, your money will be put towards this race. If you have already paid, but are unable to attend this race, your money will be put towards entry into another PCP race.
There is much to still work out, like venue. Historically, it was important to run it on Dauphin Island, and mentally, I think it is important for life to get back to normal, or as close to normal as we can get, and therefore we will try to run it on the island. Whether we can have the same course remains to be seen. Stay tuned.
The collection of needed items will still go ahead. The needs of the refugees evolve daily. For example, they already are over loaded with clothes...in a month, what will they need? What will we collect? Stay tuned.
What I can assure you is that Team Blue Bell will have cool beer, a great tank top, nice awards and good grub. I will keep you posted as things develop. In the meantime, be strong, take care of each other and keep runnin'.
