Unfortunately, we were not able to show up and kick your butts as you have become accustomed to. Next year, since there are no more track meets this summer, we plan to put a sound whuppin on you. We (the Bombers) should be well represented at the Crime Prevention Run. However, I will not show my face again until the Chickasabogue 2-miler. At which time I will gladly accept my HUGE trophy for beating Timmy Jernigan in the Masters division of the Gran Prix competition. Hopefully, Leif Irgens, Larry Wayne, James Donaghey, Ray Hickman and Ron Steed will be there too, applauding loudly.
