over all I think that the race went off well. We did not run out of beer. Results seemed accurate and the band was good all be it a lil loud.
However, it did seem more hectic at the finish this year than last to me. I don't remember having to weave as much last year. There was definitely more traffic on Canal. Maybe the racers could split back up on the turn to Broad St. 5k'ers make the hard right and the 10k'ers turn right onto the North bound lanes of Broad. Each group maintaining that seperation onto Canal St. The current setup does not lend itself to PR's being set. I approached 5k'er runners apprehensively because they occasionally just stopped running without any warning.
