So here's the thing, we've been calling it the Ghost Chase for years, but has anyone ever seen a ghost there?
We'll this year it is guaranteed at the 2011 Dog River Ghost Chase. Yes of course it will be a the most beautiful 5K course in Mobile, yes and of course several of last year's runners used it to tune up for great races at the Charity Run (like state record races!), so you might want to run on October 29th just for the run, but wait...there's more.
This is one of few evening races, starting at 5 PM at the River Shack, and yes there will be food from the River Shack for the runners' post race party, and beverages, and, yes there will be a raffle for a really cool kayak and other neat stuff, and yes there will be a costume contest for adults as well as kids, live music by Lisa Mills, and yes there will be great awards, face painting and discounts for dinner.
But this year there will be a ghost to chase at the Ghost Chase, but the question is who the ghost will be?
Early entries get two raffle tickets, late entries get one. Tickets will be on sale at the post race party. So get your costume together and come ready for a good time.
