Hello all! I have been a native to Mobile all 26 years of my life. I have also been an inactive couch potato for all 26 years, as well. A few years ago I decided to turn my life around and get healthy. In 4 years I have lost over 40lbs via due to a change to a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet alone. Now I am looking to start exercising and everyone has told me, hands down, running is your best bet. I have zero money to pay for a gym membership or workout attire. I work 40+ hours a week and I have a wife and 2 kids. I did not play any sports in school. I am as new to running as anyone could possibly be. I have ran/walk/jogged 3 times in the past month (all before 7am) and I average about 13 and a half mins per mile.

Are there any tips for a guy like me? Things like how much water should I drink before/after running? Is there any way a human can actually breathe correctly while running in humidity that causes you to drown if you breathe in too deep. Any advise at all I will gladly accept and soak up!

Thank you for your time!
